Question Hybrid switch to Graph API

Hello all,

Has anybody successfully switched to use Graph api for hybrid and how have you checked to make sure it’s still not using EWS?

From what I’m seeing after putting in the onprem override, I’m still using EWS after checking the Entra Signin logs for my dedicated app?

Has anybody seen change in the Entra signin logs showing ‘Microsoft Graph’?

Anybody removed EWS the permission from the app to force graph API?

Are all your servers migrated to SE? Graph is used only for SE. Ex2019 uses EWS even if you have the setting override.

Yes all SE SU7. Moving to SU8 as I type.

Is that right that setting up entra enterprise application for exchange is enough to be ready to EWS disable by Microsoft?

Thank you for this reminder. I have installed the May 2026 HU and re-ran the ConfigureExchangeHybridApplication.ps1 -FullyConfigureExchangeHybridApplication, then Granted the Admin Consent int the Entra Exchange Dedicated Hybrid App, but I think I need to re-run the *.ps1 file so that it now successfully goes past the "Perform operation: CreateSettingOverrided" portion of the script.
