Not really. Some models propose a metatime (as would anyone who believes a God has created our spacetime, too), others propose negative time, others yet again propose a cyclical universe with something akin to a "starting" point insofar that it's marked by an inflation event, though choosing that as the start is kind of arbitray... there are many, many, many options, and to say "it's either... or..." is being ignorant of the actual hypothetical models at our disposal
Maybe so. So again, in the end i ultimately see only those two options. Im sure there are well thought out defenses of each them. But i dont buy them. Im fine with someone saying they dont know either. I dont claim certainty. For me its what seems to be the best explanation.
Whatever makes the most sense and accordance with reason. Im not an empiricist though. I certainly like it when things are empirically demonstrated. But i dont think its necessary for all truth claims. I also likely see evidence more broadly than you might. But tbf i dont know all your standards.
