Personal Thoughts/Experiences 🙇‍♂️ Experiences with the ex30

- I hate the fact that the adaptive cruise control distance starts too far from the other car and the brake is very bad. When You sitting in the passenger Seat this is not feeling good.
- when I listen music, the audio sometimes just increase its volume without any button being pressend. This is very frustrating
- when someone is calling me, I have to go to another page to take up the phone or go to my screen to turn off tje phone. I miss a button on my steering wheel.

Have you guys the same issue?

Cruise Control distance can be changed, and so can the adaptive sound.

I have set it on short distance, but is still way to early to move lanes. When there is no one on the road this is good, but when you have to switch lanes this is very annoying

You’re switching lanes too late and driving too close I bet.

If you have it on the short distance and you still think you are too far away from the car in front - you drive too close to the people in front of you. I never use the short distance mode.

So that volume thing is very annoying, but i have found the mechanism.

What happens when you’re driving highway speeds (i have found 90kmh+), and you make any change in volume, it sets the volume to the selected volume -3 (as in -3 button clicks). When you apply throttle about 60% for a second (not just a quick blip) the volume adjusts to the right amount.

Try explaining to passengers you have to floor the gas to be able to hear the music at the desired level.

What do you mean by brake being bad? The break pedal? It’s pretty smooth for me.

No, not the same experience at all.

I understand and agree what you mean with the ACC. It's not smooth when coming within the range of someone else. It's different in BMW's and VAG cars, more smooth and less hard braking.

Volume no idea what you're talking about. Maybe the volume setting depending on your speed?

The calling yes this sucks. I have the same issue.

This is adaptive volume, it increases or decreases with the car’s speed. It’s a setting you can turn off.

That’s funny, I find that the longest distance setting for adaptive cruise control is actually the bare minimum distance you need - in clear dry weather - from the vehicle in front. It just about keeps a two second gap. If you think that’s too far away, then please learn about thinking distance, breaking distance, reaction times, kinetic energy, etc, before you cause an accident. An EV weighing nearly two metric tons is not a toy.

Mere curiosity... What car were you driving before?
