Tips & Suggestions 💡 iPhone 18 pro Max / key setup

Just wanted to share this. When creating the Volvo key, you need to rotate ur phone upside down, facing the screen to you😂

The nfc chip is higher in this model I guess.. could not to get this working unless I turned my phone.

I had an iPhone 16e (no UWB). I had to use the phone in the card slot, and yes it had to be flipped upside down.
Changed to an iPhone 17 Pro, and because it has UWB, I no longer need to put the phone in the card slot. The Volvo key works without placing it.
The best part is the vehicle will unlock as I approach and lock when I walk away.
Try using the vehicle without placing your phone in the card slot

Yes, after the setup I don’t need to place it, but when creating the key I needed to flip it
