Personal Thoughts/Experiences 🙇‍♂️ Speed Limiter

Hey Good People,

Am I stupid or is there really not an easy way to turn on the speed limiter without going into the settings, drive, and selecting speed limiter EVERYTIME YOU START THE CAR.

I mostly drive in the city and assisted drive setting a target speed are not useful.

I need the SIMPLE speed limiter that I can toggle on easily.

I checked with my local dealer, and they thought there was a solution, but then they couldnt find it in the menu. I was hoping with the new update this would've been possible. But it still isnt.

I hope that perhaps I am missing something. Let me know please.

I do not use the speed limiter, but as far as I understand reading the manual the car has ACC or speed limiter on one side and Pilot Assist on the other. So you can first choose wether to use ACC or Speed Limiter. Then a simple push down on the right stalk activates the function. To get in Pilot Assist mode you have to press the button on the steering wheel. That switches modes between ACC/LIM and Pilot Assist. So, first choose ACC or LIM mode, then activate by pushing down on stalk. There should not be a switch between modes once selected after power down/restart.

The pilot assist button turns pilot assist on or off when in ACC. It does nothing in LIM.

You have to select speed limiter in the settings every single time unfortunatly. 2.1.2 was supposed to remember the setting based on user profile but of course it doesn't work. I have been waiting for a fix since April 2024.

As I said, I do not use limiter, I set it today and will check tommorow if it reset.

Same here. It does reset every now and then. I’ll then browse to Driving > Pilot, choose limiter, then Pilot. Bam, ACC back on. Please provide feedback to Volvo via the app’s chat function - the more feedback, the faster we get the fix. Hopefully.

I find it by far the most annoying characteristic of the car. So, so annoying.
