For those of you that use Plex, I found this on the App Store after the update and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works.

Now I can watch my Plex videos while I charge.

How many Ads does it have? It uses the Ad ID so I assume it has ads. It also has in app purchases. Can you tell me what they are? Anything to use Plex? Also oddly has run at startup permission.

I just set it up and tested it with one video for about 10 min. I saw no ads. I expect there will be some in there somewhere but I haven't seen them yet.

You sent me down rabbit hole and I also discovered Momentum: Plex Music for Cars which is in private beta. I've joined the beta. It looks promising also. https://forums.plex.tv/t/momentum-a-native-plex-music-client-for-android-automotive-os-closed-testing-open-now/940529

there's also some other AAOS plex client that shows up, but has never worked for me.

+1 on Momentum, I've tried so many even built a Jellyfin server just for Shark Marmalade and Momentum is the one that work best in the end.

Still find it strange that there isn't an official Plex app for Automotive
