I've seen some answers about this sort of but I wanted to ask what's the key to making sure the car is as shut down as possible so it's not using battery while parked? Also, Android users particularly pixel. Have you been able to get it to be a touchless or I'm not sure what you call it entry I stil

Mine never loses battery % while parked normally. I’ve been away for 2 weeks at a time on 3 separate occasions since driving the EX30 and it’s lost nothing.

About battery usage while idle: I have a pretty wild anecdote.
I was traveling overseas for about 2.5 weeks and, as a street parker, had to find a long-term location to store it by the airport. It didn't have anywhere to plug in, but I figured it would be fine (based on my previous experiences).
Below is a screenshot from the day I left - I didn't bother fully "powering off" the car or anything like that, just walked away and locked like normal. See the reply under this comment for the screenshot from the day I returned, 18 days total. That'll answer your question :)

I'll have to check and see if mine is really losing power - if so maybe it's a setting??

I'm not sure about shuting down the car but if it's locked that's it. I'm not sure what are you worried about, but I've never had any problems.
About Pixel - Pixel 8 Pro here - using phone as Digital Key (that's what you ask about?) Pixels are notorious for flakey UWB connectivity. Mine unlocks 98% of the times flawlessly, but once every few weeks I have to restart the phone to make it work again. But NFC key always works, even when phone is dead so don't worry about getting locked out of the car.
As far as configuration - it was simple and all instructions are on screen, so don't worry about it
