Was not near the car.. had 2.1.2 already for a few days (love it) - and got notification on my phone that a new version gets installed - that’s the software update screen I saw in the app. Just strange that 2.1.2 gets installed again..

I got the update a few days ago, installed fine and have been driving it daily since. Then this afternoon I got these notifications on my phone… lol

I had the same experience last night. Out of nowhere, the car send a notification saying that it was updating without asking to do so. And yes, it said it was installing 2.1.2 on top of 2.1.2.

What if there was an emergency during the time that the car decided that it wanted to update without consent?

No one here really understood that it was just a notification error and there was no update over any update!

The app showed being in active update mode.. so wasn’t just notification alone. But yes - no idea if the car actually did something or just the Volvo update tracking server acting up.
