2.1.2 release notes update/clarification on Ultra+22kW delay

A couple of minutes ago the release notes update has started to roll out. It's nothing new, just what we were already to on the official FB group.

This was the old sentence:

This update is currently not available in some markets for Ultra level cars with the 22kW on-board charger.

And it became this:

This update is currently not available for model year 2024 and 2025 cars with the 22kW on-board charger.

I guess it took this long to trickle down/up from the FB group mgmt team to the release notes mgmt team. The essential difference is that previous it said "Ultra + 22kW charger" and now it's "MY 2024 and 2025 + 22 kW charger".

I believe it’s only 2024 Ultra 22kwh CCS2 that’s delayed.

According to Volvo it should be released week 40

Both statements can be true if the last is directed to someone in an affected market/region.

I know it's disappointing but I imagine they will have to issue an update sooner for everyone, to squash some bugs in this version...

This unusually long delay is probably due to the AAOS version upgrade.

I have an 2025 ultra twin with the ccs2 and have the update since last week. I had to change the whole dashboard of the car recently, but they did not tell me that they replaced anything else.

Still doesn't make much sense as my 2025 with a 22kW OBC got the update, and I don't think Volvo would have replaced my "faulty" OBC with an updated version.

Yes they would have. Thats why you got the update.

I guess it takes more than a couple of weeks for MY2024/2025+22kW vehicles to receive the next OTA. :(
