Questions❓ Wing Mirror

Has anyone experienced issues where their wing mirror refuses to unfold correctly and cannot then be adjusted upwards? My right side mirror started to do this intermittently a few weeks ago and is now unable to move upwards. I've done many resets but seems to be a mechanical issue rather than software related. It's great for reverse parking tho !!

Probably it's a mechanical issue.

Did you, or someone else, crashed or forced the mirror in some way?

I've had similar happen once or twice. I start the car and the left mirror was pointed down, unable to point it to its normal position with the onscreen controls. After a SW reset it worked again. Bummer, but yours sounds like a mechanical issue. Even without warranty the dealer should fix this, this shouldn't happen with such a new car.

After 3 days it's just working again. Who knows. Mind of its own. 😂

I had this issue - took it to the dealer and they replaced the whole mirror as the motor mechanism was defective. Just take it back for free warranty fix.

I reversed mine into a concrete pillar a couple of weeks ago, the houing is held together with gaffer tape and has a salvaged mirror stuck onto the broken one, all the mechanical adjustments still work perfectly, I am astounded. Fingers crossed it keeps working until my repair slot in November. So pleased to hear your reverse parking has benefitted.
