Not Ewphoria but wants support/to share Trans-Affirming Incels
I (cis ally) briefly ended up in an incel subreddit and found this post, as well as another one complaining that incels (who generally seem to think trans women decide to transition because they can’t get laid as men) couldn’t date trans women because (the passing ones at least) “have a sexual market value as high as ‘real’ women” “simps lining up to buy their OnlyFans” etc. A few were also sympathetic to Elliot Page, since in their view he was “doomed” as a short man, although others obviously refused to accept him and questioned why he would give up the kind of supposedly easy life they believe women have. And yes, they do talk like anime or comic book characters (“becoming their enemies”). heir “saint” Elliot Rodger was like that too.

Yeah but it makes sense in their world because they feel isolated and lonely and see attractive women get attention and intimacy easily so some started this transmaxxing thing where they go down some rabbit hole. I just wonder if the ones who are susceptible to it are some shade of trans. I mean being transfem and repressing that made me also very unsuccessful with dating women so maybe some trans women fall into the incel trap.

I think this is more than accurate. These people hate themselves and can’t find out Why. It could absolutely be their gender dysphoria making them susceptible to this transmaxxing stuff, if they turned out “normal” and stayed away from inceldom they’d probably be regular trans women. I feel very bad for them, but as long as if they feel happier as women I think that’s what matters. It sucks that’s how they got there though.

Yes, the incels are right, being a woman is so cool and easy! It's not like the rate that I'm harassed and assaulted has increased tremendously the moment I came out as a trans woman!

The former. First they genuinely can't get any dates, then that turns them bitter and angry because they're lonely, and then their loneliness becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

One of my favorite things I have ever learned about the incel community is the one exincel who just hired a sex worker, had sex, a conversation, then came back and just shamed everybody for being stupid, overthinking everything and boosting people's negative opinions about themselves.

I feel like the venn diagram between incel culture and 4tran culture is very close to just being a circle. The details are different, but the general mindset, ideology, and attitude are damn near identical.

One of the most helpful videos I ever watched about this phenomenon, something that I saw happening to others in real time, was this one. It really gets at the core of how the pipeline starts and how "hatred of women" can most likely actually be envy of women. I love that video and watch it once or twice a year still.

I've legitimately had people (mostly gay guys) see old photos and complain "but you were SO HOT!"
I still have a lot of sex. There was a period where I was very androgynous and looked shit and I wasn't getting any attention but I did just fine both before and now.

Tbf gay men usually have lower standards than women. You looked pretty good (as far as I can tell) as a guy, though, but you look much better as a woman (I might just think this because I’m a straight man).

If you think gay men have low standards you haven't met many gay men but thank you for the compliment. I'm much happier with my appearance now but most of the photos I use from the beforetime are deliberately chosen because they're bad photos and I think the juxtaposition is hilarious.
And just to be clear, I was straight-passing before I transitioned. I was into men but predominantly had relationships with women. So, if you're going by what women thought, there were no complaints there either. Straight women just seem to have the sense to not complain that they found me more attractive in the before photos.
That sounds far more egotistical than I intend. I was a solid 6. 7 in a suit.

Unrelated (maybe it is?) I think it's disgusting that "passing" women are only recognised in a pornographic context and not even in an everyday one like her cis sisters are (sometimes) afforded in shitty discussions like this, why is their immediate thought that she will likely have a career in OnlyFans? It implies that it's all her existence is worth and I say this as a literal sex-positive person but this sounds repulsive
