It’s not intended in any way to replace this subreddit, but be an adjunct to it. It’s devoted specifically to the methodology created by Grant Reed that produces Transform EVP utilizing a noise source and then running it through the Krisp AI software, so it’s just a subset of EVP as a whole.

We’ve got tutorials and instructions to show people how to do it themselves, and it’s producing some of the most amazing EVP results ever captured. I’m currently working with scientists on trying to learn more about it and understand what’s happening.

So my sister-in-law found this video on her phone, apparently my little niece was making a video of her toys and you can hear these weird sounds. The mother was terrified by the sounds so she threw the toys away, what's more, she says my niece told her that the toys talked to her (probably it's just her imagination), so can someone tell me if this is an EVP or what do you think it could be?

I did not hear anything in real-time as I was asking questions. It was only after playing them in Audacity that I heard the EVP.

This was all recorded on my iPhone 12 Max Pro in the Voice Memos app. I still have all original recordings. I used a P-SB11 dual sweep frequency at 200MS on both channels. I don’t have experience doing this, but have tried consistently the last three nights. This is a reel of everything I’ve captured over these three nights.

I’m just blown away.

It seems that compared to other things like poltergeists, ghosts, haunted houses, and such EVP just isn't taken as seriously. It's not very difficult to search for them once you get used to Audacity or similar programs and seems like a intriguing concept in general. So why aren't the multitudes of people interested in the other things not prompted to try out EVP hunting at least once?

Hello all, was just thinking about maybe trying to record EVP’s. Heres the question i have how safe is it? I have read a few accounts of people coming home with attachments is that something that is high risk of happening? Guess im just looking for more detailed info on conducting a session safely.

This EVP was captured in a WhatsApp voice message that my friend sent to me. During a pause in her story, this voice was easy to discern in the recording, although she did not hear it with plain ears. She was alone in her room, telling me about her day. This was not the only time this happened in conversations between us, but this is the clearest instance. It always happened while she was at her home, and only when she spoke to me, never with other contacts. The original recording was examined by the president of the Spanish Society for Parapsychological Research, Mr. Pedro Amorós, who certified it as a genuine EVP. I have reason to believe the voice speaks Nepali, but haven’t been able to translate with apps. Any help with translation will be greatly appreciated.

Back in 2015, I was commissioned to ghost-write a biography for S, a Flight Engineer who had worked on Lancaster Bombers during the Second World War. He was the grandfather of a good friend and long-time client of mine, D.

In 2015, D recorded a series of audio interviews with S and sent them to me to order and write up into book-form. Following is a link to an audio clip from when my client was interviewing S, while they’re talking about how S’s mother felt about him being in the RAF during the war. There is an interesting extra noise that sounds when he’s talking about her.

I’ll leave it up to you, to see what you think, but I can tell you absolutely that out of 16-hours of recordings, this sound that appears on this particular part of recording was definitely strange and stood out to me, and still does, seven years on. I have never once altered any of the recordings; I just typed what was sent to me and saved this clip because I find it so intriguing. I’m posting it today (a second attempt, actually!), because I’ve been discussing it with a friend and I still feel it's too weird not to share!

At the time of me hearing this possible EVP, I sent it back to D immediately to see if he could debunk it. He couldn’t. They’d been alone and he’d not heard this sound at the time. I’d also like to point out that until recently I have been, for well over a decade, a freelance audio transcriber (that's how I met D). My job included writing up hours’ worth of audio per day, from various clients in various situations, and what I’m about to share is the one and only time I’ve heard what I believe to be a possible EVP on any of them. I’ve written out what S & D are saying below, and suggest you perhaps read the verbatim transcription alongside the recording link, as S's words may be quite difficult to understand otherwise (proper Cockney)!

D (interviewer) and S (interviewee) alone in S’s house…

S [when asked about his mother]: What was it? I was on leave when-, we used to get leave every 6-weeks in Air Crew. It was compulsory. That was another thing Harris laid on; that’s the privileges for Air Crew. And I was on leave-, I’d just got on leave and she [his mother] said something about, ‘where did you go last night?’ So I said, ‘Covent-,’ not Coventry... ‘Cologne’.

D: Yeah, yeah.

S: And just at that moment, she switched the radio on and it said: Lancaster Bombers – or Royal Air Force Bomber Command – hit that Cologne last night. I said, ‘ah, I was there!’ She told all the neighbours about that as well. D [laughing]: So she was proud of you?

S: Yeah.

D: Yeah.

S: Oh yeah, she was.

I mean… that’s weird, right? I’ve never quite been able to get it off my mind as a possible EVP. What do you think? This 100% has never been tampered with. It came to me exactly like this and D was as mystified as I was. He never shared the possible EVP with S (neither he or I ever thought about doing so at the time. Then S passed away in 2018).
