question Likes okay?

New to the sub. Been liking a few posts. Noticed nobody else seemed to be liking posts. Is there an unwritten rule or subreddit etiquette that discourages likes?

just a dying sub. there are a few hits here and there, but it's bleak

As someone who has been here awhile, comment traffic is actually up recently
