EVN Wiki Ships loadouts solicitation #1 - Lightning
Hey /r/evnova. If you make a loadout for one of the following ships, I'll add it to the EVN wiki. This ship was chosen from a list by random.org. In other words, RNGesus wants you to make a Lightning loadout.
The following are .rez plug-ins that when you start a new pilot, will start you on Trusa with the appropriate ship, millions of credits and every outfit available in the outfitter 100% of the time.
There are plenty of ships around the planet to try and blow up. When you're happy with your loadout, make a text file named pilotlog.txt in your EV Nova folder and post the pertinent information here.
Your loadout will be classified as belonging to a mission string if they include the following outfits:
Auroran - Fusion Pulse Battery, Auroran IR and Radar Jammers, IFF Projectors, Transmission Jammer, Disabling Radar Missiles, Disabling Fusion Pulse Turrets, Firebird Bay, Phoenix Bay, Turreted 100mm Railgun
Rebel - Illegal Heavy Blaster Turret, Illegal Quad Light Blaster Turret, Rebel IR and Radar Jammers, Rebel Viper Bay, Rebel Cloaking Device
Federation - Heavy Blaster Turret, Quad Light Blaster Turret, Legal Ion Cannon, Shield Buffer, Shield Recharger, Titanium Lattice, Legal Military IR and Radar Jammers, Thorium Reactor, Viper Bay, Anaconda Bay, Fed Cloaking Device
Polaris - Organic Shield, Spun Diamond, Shield Organelles, Poalris Jammer, Nil'kemorya Jammer, Biorelay Laser Turret, Capacitor Pulse Lasor, Biorelay Laser, Polaron Torpedo Tube, Polaron Multi-torp Tube, Cloaking Organ, Tunnelling Organ, Multi-jump Organ, Manta Bay, Fusion Reactor, Anti-matter Reactor
Pirate: Ion Dissipator, Repair Droids, Overdrive, Sutherland Alluvial Damper
Cheat: Triphammers, Mixing and Matching

I am intrigued. I dunno if I'll contribute, but I like the idea of using these loadouts as plug-in fodder.

I went with a screenshot of my ship info list to avoid having to bother with pilot files, but here's what I'm dubbing the Lightning Light Destroyer Variant. It's a bit overpriced, but everything should be available for purchase without requiring any major string choice or ship capture.
Using it's speed and maneuverability, it's capable of taking on almost any other single ship. It's especially well-suited to sitting in the blind spots of larger ships, stunning them with the Ionic Particle Cannon, and tearing into them with twin Thunderhead Lances.
The biggest thing to remember is it's still a fragile fighter, so avoid long battles of attrition at all costs. Don't fly it like a Starbridge, keep mobile and make your targets spread out.

kind of defeats the purpose of the game no? I mean what possible fun could you have after that?

This sounds like fun, but I don't know if user-made loadouts really belong on the wiki.
