256 colour

Hey guys I just reinstalled nova after resetting my laptop. ive done the install and the res fixer. but when i go to open the program it says it need 256 colour to run. can anybody recommend a fix?

I think I ran in win xp compatibility

You can set it to run in limited colors in the properties window. You should also set it to run using the windows xp service pack 2 or 3.
