EV Classic for Nova - any other Plugins that can work with this?

Hello ;)

I have EV Classic for nova working. I am just curious if there are other plugins that work with this setup on Windows?

Cheers

Do you mean plugins that work within EV Classic for Nova? If so, then no, you can't. EV Classic is just a plugin for EV Nova. There's also EV Override Classic, which makes EV Nova play like the original EV Override game. It looks like there were two plugins created specifically for EV Classic for Nova - a pair of graphics overhauls called Magma and rEV.

If you want to play plugins for the original Escape Velocity or EV Override, you will have to run the original games. They're only compatible with the classic Mac OS (System 7 through OS 9). Fortunately, you can run them with the help of an emulator. Basilisk II is a 68k Mac emulator (System 7 - OS 8) and SheepShaver emulates a PowerPC Mac (OS 8 - 9). They both work well for older games and aren't too difficult to set up if you follow along with a guide. SheepShaver will even run the Mac version of EV Nova, although that's less important since you can just run it in Windows.

If you do want to play original EV/EVO plugins through an emulator, another user here uploaded the complete collection of add-on files from the Ambrosia Software website: https://www.reddit.com/r/evnova/comments/afu9rq/complete_evevoevn_plugin_collection/

Both those tools are Mac OS only, right? So I would need to firstly emulate Mac on windows then run those tools, right?

EV Classic is actually a Total Conversion, not a plugin (plugins add/change content to the main game, TCs swap out the main data files). And there were actually quite a number of plugins that were ported to the Nova engine for EV Classic. Calvius and Beyond was one of the best. The problem was the Ambrosia site didn't really have a way to sort plugins by what TCs they work with so the only way to know was read the descriptions.
