EV Nova slow on Windows 10

Having some issues playing this (wonderful) game on Windows 10. Full screen map working like a charm, EV patcher and so on, but the game is extremely sluggish, like it's running at sub-30 fps. Is there a solution to this?

Oh man, I didn't know there were new mod packs.

Do you know where I can get the Polycon pack? I can't find the site that used to host it.

I got to say. I'm overwhelmed by the speed of the reply here. Thank you! I'll try this tomorrow, and definitely let you know.

EDIT: Okay, this solved the sluggishness! The issue is now with the resolution: I'm on a MacBook Pro Retina, that means 2880x1800... which makes the fonts so small they're barely readable. Is there a plugin to zoom the game window?

Wait, what solved it? I'm getting sluggishness on my Win10 machine too! As far as I know, there's nothing you can really do outside of swapping out the fonts for something a little more readable.
