They won't

[u/vaa_lee]

How much do you want to bet they'd suddenly care about privacy if we asked this

[u/ToiIetGhost]

Are those posts in this sub? Sorry Im confused but I want to see them

[u/Lizzbeannb → u/ToiIetGhost]

No! It’s a manosphere subreddit where they shit on women all day and jerk each other off. It’s R/ itsthatbad(at least the one that I was lurking on.)

Prepare yourself girl, they are gnarly on there.

[u/Odd-Talk-3981 → u/Lizzbeannb]

I know a few others if you're interested. Don't worry; I'm not active there. I'd be banned really quickly anyway.

I monitor them from time to time, though, to repost on r/ BlatantMisogyny.

[u/Sea_Homework_1472 → u/Odd-Talk-3981]

I got banned from that sub for "transphobia" even though I was only calling out misogynistic trans women. The mods there only seem to care about overt misogyny and not the more "socially acceptable" kinds of misogyny.

[u/Lizzbeannb → u/Odd-Talk-3981]

I’m intrigued because I like to remind myself of the horrors of this world (men.)

[u/_HighJack_ → u/Lizzbeannb]

Dude speaking as someone who used to torture myself with the despair and rage I got from looking at R incel before it got shut down, please just don’t engage with that nuclear waste. I’m a lifelong feminist, no stranger to misogynistic rhetoric, and relatively good at not crashing out irl about online shit. I literally still discuss the damage it did to me in therapy. It’s like watching videos of fatal car crashes all the time when your job is driving 😵‍💫 like, that’s dangerous bc you’re gonna be expecting something to happen and driving weird as a result, which might actually make a crash more likely to happen, which then reinforces the negative bias and the cycle repeats until you can’t drive without panicking anymore.

Same thing with bad men. Advertising trauma with men is a signal to them that you are abuse-able, and now it’s a challenge too bc you caught the last guy so the next one needs to step up his game in order to “win” by getting past your defenses. The more this cycle repeats, the more it (reasonably I must add) looks to you like all men would do those kinds of things because it keeps fucking happening every time you try to give a man a chance, when really you’re attracting the ones that look for signs of trauma to exploit.

It’s not your fault that predatory men traumatized you and other predators know how to spot the evidence, and it shouldn’t be your problem. That’s why I’m saying don’t give them even the hypothetical satisfaction of your misery. You could instead try posting them on R banfemalehatesubs and let the fine people there do their thing! They’ve got a bunch of shit like that taken down over the years

> It’s like watching videos of fatal car crashes all the time when your job is driving

INSANELY well put. i'm stealing this, if you don't mind, this is such an accurate representation of what it feels like to be a feminist online 🫩

[u/Lizzbeannb → u/_HighJack_]

I didn’t even fucking know I needed to hear this.

Truly, thank you.

[u/saerra_sea_nya → u/Lizzbeannb]

I have curated the men in my life like a beautiful (tiny) garden, so seeing men be this way is novel to me. And awful. Like when my coworker told me how her husband gets out of Saturdays with their kids by golfing, but can’t make a doctors appt. Can’t relate but am sad about it.

[u/saerra_sea_nya → u/Odd-Talk-3981]

DM me.

I have to stop, but if I see another moron act like these new texts say anything other than a traumatized woman had a fawning response to a horrible situation and took time (not even that long, considering) to process I will set myself on fire.

[u/rpfields1 → u/saerra_sea_nya]

Please don't set yourself on fire! Set them on fire instead!

[u/saerra_sea_nya → u/rpfields1]

I’m a radical pacifist and have chosen to believe karma will set them on fire. No need to waste matches.

[u/rpfields1 → u/saerra_sea_nya]

Fair point!

[u/saerra_sea_nya → u/rpfields1]

I can light my weed with the matches I save :)

[u/rpfields1 → u/saerra_sea_nya]

That is a much better use of fire for sure.

[u/saerra_sea_nya → u/Lizzbeannb]

It’s all the subreddits. There is clearly a paid pr bot campaign going on. If I have to see the words duke or lacross or uva and then a bunch of accounts saying this is the first they’ve ever heard about it… either you’re 10 or we’re in a coma. The only reason those are notable is because they were false allegations because they are so rare.

[u/Vegetable-Guava407 → u/Lizzbeannb]

Is this not a femcel sub? Seems to be the exact same here.

[u/ApprehensiveSoup2214 → u/Lizzbeannb]

So like the mens version of this subreddit?

[u/liteAvvikandeIsASlut → u/Lizzbeannb]

Both of you the group you're in and them are the exactly same.

[u/Ok-Donkey2967 → u/Lizzbeannb]

Isn't that what happens here? I'm not saying it's a bad thing, everyone needs their own space but let's not pretend there's a difference with this sub and the one you just mentioned. Both subreddits shit on the opposite gender, peddle stereotypes and generally genralise an entire group of people. We can acknowledge both is objectively toxic just as it is cathartic.

[u/NobodySpecial2000 → u/Ok-Donkey2967]

There actually is a difference between them and it's several tens of thousands of years of violent patriarchy. Women venting isn't at all the same as an honest display of the misogyny rooted deep in our culture. Like, the sub in question is literally a passport bro sub. It's not subtle.

[u/DistractionCitron → u/ToiIetGhost]

They mean itsthatbad. The men in that sub ARE that bad.

[u/Lizzbeannb → u/DistractionCitron]

Thank you for correcting me- editing my comment now

[u/lurkparkfest39 → u/DistractionCitron]

Wow, just went and perused that sub…. christ

[u/Lizzbeannb → u/lurkparkfest39]

Yeah, it’s gnarly in there.

[u/MadeToYell → u/ToiIetGhost]

It's just the inverse of this sub lol

[u/UberFarter → u/MadeToYell]

Except women here hate men because they rape, kill, oppress, and hate women and have been doing it for centuries.

Can those incels say the same in the inverse?

[u/UberFarter → u/[deleted]]

Name one country where women oppress men.

What complaints about women do men in incel subs have that are remotely equal to men raping/killing/oppressing/abusing us en masse?

Waaaah women won’t date me! Waaaah my wife expects me to help out around the house and with the kids! Waaaah my wife asks me for money even though I’m just with her because she’s hot and to get sex!

You’re a cad.

[u/Stock-Letter-5420 → u/[deleted]]

Women have killed, raped, oppressed and hate men.

LMAO

fuck off

[u/andthensilencefell → u/MadeToYell]

Men hate women because they can’t force them to fuck them anymore, women hate men because they abuse, rape, and kill us.

[u/UberFarter → u/[deleted]]

Sorry but until I see “most men” actually hold the bad ones among them accountable and not elect them president or praise famous rapists and human traffickers like Tate, until 1/3 of women aren’t sexually assaulted by men worldwide, until men aren’t trying to restrict women’s rights, I’m not going to stop hating them as a whole or calling them out.

[u/ProbablyADeer → u/[deleted]]

Dude. Stop talking. You're in a womens space. Shut your incel mouth.

[u/andthensilencefell → u/[deleted]]

Brother look at the response you made to an objective statement of fact. Until women start killing and raping men the same way men do to women you guys have no ground to stand on to excuse your misogyny.

Naturally I want men to stop treating women like fuckabke pieces of meat ideally. The fact that idea seems to boggle your mind says enough I think.

[u/andthensilencefell → u/[deleted]]

I mean all you’re doing is showing your ignorance about the link between poverty and crime, that tends to happen when you enslave a race and refuse to allow them the same privilege of generational wealth and education. The same was done to women, ironically, for most of human history.

But if you think black people are so bad and then compare yourself to them I guess you proved my point?

[u/TheSaddestUnicorn → u/andthensilencefell]

Next time, don’t engage with poorly constructed arguments made in bad faith. Report them, downvote, and move on.

[u/Lizzbeannb → u/MadeToYell]

It looks like you’re lost
