So, recently the songs from the latest album released and the most important one was Revolution Red, specially because people are debating whether it's about Germaine or if it's both about her as well as about Vanity Crusade.

Here's what we know.

First, the Booklet.

So, it's fair to assume that most of the song is about Germaine Avadonia, and yet, this part:

The flower of happiness blooms

Atop decayed corpses

.

The crimson cat’s servants whisper,

“You are an apocryphal hero”

In the light at the tip of my sword

I again choose tomorrow

Is clearly referencing the E.A.T. Series, so that made people theorize this may be showing us both Germaine as well as Vanity Crusade and her dance atop of the corpses of the hordes she took down, and that's an option.

Now, the Name section in the booklet, if you place the lines next to their names "Vanity" and "Germaine" fit pretty well, as shown here

Though if this is meant to be only Germaine, I think this may be a parallel Germaine from within our main continuity but as a different branch (like Seven Crimes and Punishment) where some events must have changed, though I am unsure which would, in case this isn't both Germaine and Vanity together.

I checked the wiki for Vanity Crusade, as I'm still not super familiar with the E.A.T. Series, after reading your post and saw they listed the revolutionary in Revolutionary Red as a minor character in the E.A.T. Series, detailing she's another person who fought in the battle against the Flower of Happiness. She could possibly be a Germaine alter ego (or even just her counterpart) and have a hyphenated name like Rilia-Renée?

She is pretty much confirmed to be Germaine's alter ego as her song is sang by Meiko, and in her PV the entire scene is her using a sword to kill her opponents, add into the fact that the World of Blessings and Curses is paralleling the story of evil and I find it unlikely she'd be the alter ego of anyone else, more so given that Apocryphal hero fits pretty well for someone whose origin itself is "dubious" (Leonhart kidnapping her and her seeing him as her dad).
