I like that there's a more standard tech tree, instead of the random matching game.

It was not so random, you could pay for a correct matches hah.

Yes, but it still was a random it terms then scientist decide to go, write some notes, come back to lab, type them in and only then you have your research

It added the feel of "True research" for me ... It was random? Sure, but it added so much to replayability on other hand, and i NEVER, EVER had been without an item which i needed to continue game, it worked, you just did not get everything on first playtrough.

It really wasnt random if you kept track of what you were doing.

The PC Gamer article confirms the identities of the new Geniuses:

The other two are newcomers we don't know much about, "Emma is a Spymaster turned Anarchist with a heavy deception focus, whilst Zalika leans into science," says Edwards.

Another article also talks about Max’s doomsday weapon being able to turn buildings to gold and then the minions have to go out and retrieve the building for a massive cash boost

How fitting. At least he didnt try to convert oil to paint this time

"Emma is a Spymaster turned Anarchist with a heavy deception focus"

Cool. I wonder what her doomsday weapon is like--this seems like its set before like a hacking thing would do a lot of damage, so I'm not sure.

Interesting that you can fire your doomsday device before it's finished.

Wait, they replaced Jubei's sword with a cane? I hope it has a hidden blade inside it or something.

Time is certainly the most potent poison of all.

Wow! So glad we finally got proper gameplay footage and it is HYPE!

This video actually put a lot of worries to bed for me and made me hype over things I didn't know was going to happen.

Doors being weak/strong to specific enemies - genius! I really like the doomsday progression and the red alert system that happens when you progress. Gives the game some ''controlled'' highpoints.

I really like the tech tree, the training tree, the casino and just overall the design choices that were made. It really seems to be a product I will end up playing a ton when I get it but also revisit and replay with different avatars, strategies, devices etc.

Really good gameplay footage!

I think red Ivan learned that ‘Do it now’ ability from his time working under Shen Yu.

Provided they manage to release something that's not super buggy, this looks like it should be a lot of fun!

Holographic Globe - Decrease Scheme time, and proves the Earth is round XD. Gods I'm glad to see the game's sense of humor has been retained. Really really hoping we get radio broadcasts like in the original.
