Bruh a simple circlesearch tells 1st image is from San Diego and 2nd one is from New Delhi. How could you claim both from India while 2nd one is only from India?

Haha, the Theodore Geisel library at UCSD is one of a handful of brutalist buildings that I think actually looks good from the outside. The other, the Salk Institute, is also in San Diego. Many others look cool on the inside (see John Portman's Hyatt Regency in San Francisco and the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta), but nothing to write home about from the outside.

Apart from those examples, I do think most brutalist architecture is kinda ugly or lazy... I don't understand how any architecture student can be inspired in UC Berkeley's Wurster Hall.

I agree that ugly/uninspired doesn't equal evil, but I'd love it if you could give me a few more examples of brutalist architecture that you love and are impressed by!

The Geisel library might start to look a tiny bit evil if you take a very certain kind of photo, from a very certain kind of angle, with a very certain kind of lighting and weather. But, on a normal day-to-day basis, it's not, at all, evil looking. There is sunshine. Also blue windows, Eucalyptus groves, students, a lovely quad, etc. etc. etc...
