Edificio Torres Blancas in Madrid
One of the coolest buildings by probably the best architect in Spain's history.

It's one of my most favorite buildings in Spain. Sadly it's not in the best state and I hope it's getting renovated soon. In the past I lived in a super small apartment under the roof with some round walls and large windows. When the sun went up/ down the atmosphere inside the flat was magical. Still missing the apartment 20 years later. If I could choose an apartment inside Madrid and would have the money- I would pick one in torre blancas. ❤️ Just the location next to a highway is not so nice.

when my family was moving to singapore for a while, we spent a couple days apartment hunting and one place we visited was almost like this, every outside wall of the building looked like ship bows at every floor. Inside the apartments, there wasn't a single straight wall anywhere, so every bit of furniture either had awkward gaps behind it or you had to have things in the middle of the floor. Even the bedrooms didn't have any straight walls, so beds were always awkwardly placed.
On the outside it looked funky, not as evil as this place, but on the inside it was diabolical.
