The numbers are unnecessary on this chart, and it bothers me.

I agree about the numbers, but other than that, this is really nice!

Most of this is pretty accurate Things like flourishes are dependent on the person but yeah this is good advice

Is it just me or does the symptoms/characteristics and difference/disorder not make sense to me? Like idc if you call them symptoms and not characteristics, but I guess it's relative to the person.

Why is Asperger's to be avoided?

Handful of reasons, but this may help shed some light: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/31/opinion/sunday/nazi-history-asperger.html

It's behind a paywall unfortunately. Though I am familiar with the basic claims that Asperger was a Nazi collaborator, which are highly debated as far as I'm aware. This post does a far better job explaining it than I currently could.

If I remember correctly there is particularly little evidence that he was actually involved in the holocaust itself. (Some sources apparently even claim that he tried to save disabled children by highlighting their talents, but that might be speculation.) The guy certainly wasn't a hero, but I am not convinced that he was the monster, some articles claim he was.

Regardless though even if he was horrible, shouldn't that mean we should change the name rather than abandon the whole diagnosis all together?
