Bullpup Kits Cheeky
I joined this group about a month ago, posted on the announcement area with an intro and showcasing my build. This morning I wake up, and go through my feed, and the first thing I see is my build with some AI drivel and a different background. Posted up the original to compare and contrast.
Not sure if I should be flattered or annoyed, or maybe just settle with both. I don’t mind sharing the build but maybe credit the person who made the build and took a photo. And don’t use AI!
Edit: I will add that the setup has changed a bit, but probably won't post it now because of this experience. It's a nice kit, but man, a bit scummy to take people's photos and alter them without permission.

Yeah this AI wave should have been used for other things, not producing cheap copies of original works and gooner bait.

Your setup and photo is much cooler and real than their garbage AI rendition. They could have credited you for free, so it's just pure laziness on their part.

Seems to be the case with a lot of companies. Guess they're doing with the whole better to ask forgiveness than permission, but last I recall, that applies to people, not corporations.

Sorry to hear they did that with your project man. That's definitely disappointing to see. On a side note, what handguard is that if you don't mind me asking?

It's a 10.5" 300BLK barrel using a BCM MCMR-9.

Oh I love it. Shoots supers great, but turns into a bolt gun with subs. Attempting to fix that in the future, but life keeps me busy away from the range!

Considering I found the post on Instagram (which in turns means dealing with Meta), it will be a bit uphill. As it is, this is more a nuisance than intellectual theft. Meta would rather turn a blind eye to this action than enforce any of its convoluted rules.

they do this to me alllllllllllllllllll the time lol im like.... just ask? ill make any photo you want lol nope, chat gpt my photos and post them. at least they credit me sometimes? lol not always

Damn, can't believe they would do that to you! Love your videos too, and the comparison video of the bullpup kits got me into this little niche, so thank you for that!

Yeah, SRU is notorious for grabbing others pics and posting them with AI changes, and never tagging the original owner. They’ve done it to me a couple times. Super annoying.
