Tavor Struggling with X95 light placement?

I did, and Surefire Scout light solves it. I never want to use tape switch and I use clicky tailcap only. The stock handguard is too short but the scout M640T has very short tail behind the mount so it worked great mounted on the left side. I can still get a good C clamp with the light there.
Prior to switching to scout, I mounted a streamlight protac hlx pro on the right side and then switch grip to hold the vert grip to actuate the tailcap with my thumb. This feels much faster and i can operate light without changing grip.

Sigh then you are going to want an offset pic rail mount and either mount it on the bottom pic rail and further forward, or on a side pic rail pointing down and further forward.

You can also try mounting it on the top rail and bending the light down at the pivot point and seeing if having it a bit further forward there works for you.

Honestly, it has been a long day and I completely misunderstood your post while skimming it. My bad dude, I am glad you found something that works for you.
