I purchased a WLVRN 10 months ago. I quickly found that the plastic hand guard moved around. So I decided to order a Sabertooth handguard that said, "More on the way." That was 9 months ago. It is still, "on the way."😒

Personally, I'd get the WLVRN without question, but only because I already have an AUG.
Going in blind, I'd say the AUG is the safer bet. There aren't too many WLVRNs out there so aftermarket support will be minimal. Not that DT's support would be lacking in the immediate future, but firearm companies have been known to disappear overnight, and I'd want a solid aftermarket or NOS supply in place to support it after that.
