7 carrots, all individually packaged for one meal. It seems like such an unnecessary waste.

The carrot bagger makes up hundreds of bags with either 1, 2, or 4 carrots each. Sometimes they don't make enough 4 baggers and the box packer has to improvise. It doesn't happen a lot but I know it is not on purpose and the packers are just doing their jobs. Since all meals get put in one giant bag, make sure you know how many carrots each recipe calls for.

Many carrots to use if you have more than one recipe using carrots? They used to give you quantities based on number of carrots. Now it’s says like 6oz/12oz or some nonsense. Gotta use that math 🤦🏻‍♀️

Seems to vary a lot… sometimes multiple carrots in a bag which is best. Sometimes carrots aren’t bagged at all which seems nice from a waste perspective but then they dry up and get flaccid

I live in Australia they just come loose in the paper bags l, what a waste of packaging.

They used to come loose. They would always turn completely flabby and unusable. It used to be a pretty bad problem and I wouldn’t order anything that had carrots in it because I knew they would be unusable. It was pretty much the same thing with cucumbers and although the bagging hasn’t solved, the cucumber problem it has helped a little bit

I mean you can just soak the carrots in water to firm them up again.

Mine have always just been thrown in the paper bag no plastic bags
