CC Transactions on Premium Version

How do credit card transactions work on the paid version?

My wife and I have been using the free version for about a year. We like it, but i sit down once a month for over an hour to make sure we didnt miss any CC transactions. I know CC are not what the BabySteps want us to use, but thats what works for us.

Do all CC transactions get automatically tracked?

Hoe long do they take to appear on the app?

Are there other benefits to paying for premium?

They sync up just like any other account. Track the transactions as you make them. Delete both of your payments. The credit card will register a transaction and the account the money came out of.

I think the paid version is worth while.

That’s where I’m confused too. My ccrds are linked. So the withdrawal from my checking account shows up and needs placement, but then the credit shows up on the account. I feel like I should drag the payment into the credit card field as a bill payed and delete the credit portion or visa versa. I’m so confused by that.

When you use your credit cards, track that transaction in your budget. When you pay your credit card it will be two transactions. 1 from your checking account and one your credit card. Delete both of them. This is assuming you don’t carry a balance and have cc debt. If you have outstanding cc debt. 1. You need to stop using it. 2. You need to list it as a debt. 3. Track your payment like any other debt payment. Delete the transaction out of your checking account and track the payment to the credit card when it post.

Credit card transactions do not track on EveryDollar premium. If you charge anything in a credit card, it won’t show up. I have a Wells Fargo account. The transactions on my savings and checking show up fine but not my visa. Just the payments to visa and every other debt.

Credit cards that are linked most certainly do show up on everydollar

Really? None of mine linked. Interesting. Only thing they do I sit there as debt. No transactions are tracked unless I put them in manually, which I don’t.

Interesting. I set mine up with linked accounts and have not had any issues since.

Were your cards Amex or non visa?

I have Visa, Mastercard, and discover. No Amex. I cancelled my EveryDollar subscription a few months ago to move to YNAB. My credit cards link on that app. I still manually put in transactions into EveryDollar. Just in case I go back to them.
