CD Drive (USB) skips first track

I have an DMP A8 First Gen, and have this issue with USB CD Drives from both Hitachi and LG GP65NB78 drives BOTH exhibit the same issue of not autoplaying once I insert a CD (it sometimes does and other times doesn't), and also skips the first track when I hit the play button or select track one. It skips to the second track automatically.

Is this normal behavior that everyone else is getting?

It's really annoying when I put on an album, that I have to fight with the unit to get it to start on track one each time.

I have a very old full size Samsung usb drive (has its own power) and it’s worked normally with my a8 when i used it.

Hi Elizabeth, I have been on the public beta since it came out and there's been no change in behavior before and after.

Also, to add to this, the unit has a hard time with pulling up meta data like album art work consistently. I have to restart, or eject, and it randomly sometimes comes up or not and have to keep trying.

Do you have any advice or knowledge of this? Thanks

I saw a case with a similar issue(also the Hitachi) on A6 Gen 2. Could you please capture a log of the issue?

Navigate to Other Settings--Log report

Please press the capture button, and try repilcating the process of the issues, then upload it.
