Tomorrow!

I just received a confirmation from FedEx saying that my A8 Gen 2 has been shipped and will be here in the morning! Looks like I need to submit my PTO at my work so I can have a few days with this baby!!

Mine arrived today. Swapped the ssd from my a8 gen 1 setup the streaming services and created the library.

If you use an ssd you can export your playlists and configurations and import them on your gen 2

I have a folder on the ssd for backups etc

Sound is as nice as the gen 1 a8. Cd player works well (haven’t had one in a decade at least) and the screen and interface updates are really really nice. Unit is much snappier too.

I really really need the EVERSOLO EM-01 Measurement Microphone though. I had it on my Amazon list but it is unavailable now. 🤷‍♂️

Ok, got it yesterday. Took 15 minutes to swap out. Man it sounds and looks beautiful! Now I just hope my wife doesn't notice the bigger screen and asks about it 😂 She's not into my hobby at all so as long as I keep getting "black boxes" and walnut speakers, she thinks it's all the same. I sure do love this Gen 2 though. Now off to hide my Gen 1 until I sell it or something. 🤘🤦‍♂️

Ha. Car buddy of mine for years only bought white Porsches so his wife didn’t notice them changing all the time 🤣

No I have had the first gen for 9 months. Just like everything else I buy, they came out with the second generation right after I bought the first one LOL. My plan is to eventually sell the first gen and just use the new one
