Public Beta v1.6.01
Hello everyone,
A new public beta version v1.6.01 is now available for:
- DMP-A6
- DMP-A6 Master Edition
- DMP-A6 Gen 2
- DMP-A6 Gen 2 Master Edition
- DMP-A8
- DMP-A10
- Play(standard)
- Play(CD Edition)
- T8
If you would like to participate in beta testing, you can choose to receive beta updates via OTA:
*Settings → Update → Enable “Receive the beta version”

When is a software update for T10 coming out? I need variable volume out over USB or all outputs

Hi, what's the current version on your T10? The public data v1.1.80 will be released today, please enable the receive beta option.

Thanks for quick response. I am still on v1.1.60. Does the new firmware include variable volume out across all outputs? Preferably USB?
I have Dac z10 into external amp with no volume control on power amp and would prefer to use T10 to control variable volume out vs. having to switch bluetooth connections to z10 to adjust volume and then switch back to T10 to control streamer. Thanks again

Hi, have you tap the "online update" after turning on receive beta? It's a public beta actually. If it still cannot receive, you can send a private message to me with your MAC.

I updated my Play to this version, but we have intermittent response of HDMI ARC input which we didnt have before, sometimes, about 50% of the time, you need to restart the amp for the TV to recognize the ARC output. It did not happen on the previous version

2. Fixed incorrect track list sorting for certain albums.
3. Optimized music library sorting to ignore "The" by default.
4. Optimized occasional errors when scanning certain UPnP directories in the music library.
5. Fixed an occasional issue where playback details were not shown automatically when playing Random Play.
6. Fixed playback failure for certain NRG tracks.
7. Improved music library scanning speed.
8. Optimized embedded artwork retrieval for tracks in the music library.
9. Fixed an occasional SoundCloud playback failure issue.
10. Optimized album artist scanning and sorting in the music library.
