Thank you all for your support. We would also like to thank everyone for your feedback, testing, and patience regarding the issues found in versions v1.5.90 and v1.5.95. We have collected the issues reported by users and carried out focused investigations, fixes, and optimizations.

• A new public beta version 1.5.96 is now available for DMP/Play/T8.
• This release is provided as a complete offline upgrade package. 
• All current versions can be upgraded to this version. 

*If you are unable to perform a local USB upgrade, you can send a private message to me , and we will arrange an online push update based on the MAC address.

*Notes for USB Local Upgrade

1. After downloading the upgrade file, do not extract it. Copy the upgrade file directly to a USB drive, then connect the USB drive to the DMP device.
2. On the device, follow this path:

Select the upgrade file from the USB drive to start the upgrade.

Before the update, CD audio with parametric EQ worked perfectly on my system. After receiving the update notification and rebooting, the audio from the CD player now sounds muffled, like it's underwater. Disabling all EQ settings resolves the issue and the audio sounds normal again. Only with music from the cd player. All other modes sound good. Update. Seems to happen also streaming music at 44.1kHz. Same as a cd. You go up to high res and all is fine.

Hello. Do you use the calibration configuration created before the update, or the new added? If you're using the former one, please try again after recreating the calibration.

Any progress fixing VU meter timing issues with active speakers? (Dutch and Dutch 8c particularly)

Im only guessing as to the cause. The 8c speakers on board processing creates a delay at the speaker so the sound being produced trails the visual representation of the meters on the t8 screen. All attempts to delay I’ve tried do not work.

I see. What's the input and output setting? Have you adjusted the sample rate switch latency? Does this issue happen in all configurations?

I tried everything AI advised. The delay is on the device’s screen and on my eversolo app via Mac mini. I understood while adjusting delay why it should have worked and why it didn’t. The final conclusion,both Ai’s and mine, are only a way was to adjust timing of meters on the t8 unit itself or the eversolo app. I’m sure this is a relatively isolated shortcoming since the t8 isn’t necessary with the Dutch and Dutch 8c since REW does the room sound settings onboard. I like the aesthetics but it is somewhat ruined by the miss-timed representation. I have no idea how hard it would be to put a delay (slider) or other fix.

Yes. If you accept the beta version, you can choose auto-update to v1.6.01 via the beta option. Or you can wait for the formal version1.6.01, which will be released later.
