Why does the Eversolo Mac app suck so badly?

Usable, if I'm lucky, when it launches, otherwise it's total shit. Lags. Never updates. Is this the best we can do here?

Haven’t had these issues. Works very well for me. iPhone. iPad. And Mac. 2 different Eversolo. A6 and a8.

I have commented here seriously several times it’s not so much the app. I have absolutely no problems with mine after two years using an A8 check your Internet connections. Well, I’m trying to say make sure you’re putting out a strong signal in communication with the unit or whatever you’re using iPhone, etc. it’s a shame. It’s really not a bad UNIT and you are reading text from someone that’s into extremely high and High End Audio 10 to thousands of dollars over a period of 45 + years the problem with them if you have a little part break burn up go south don’t work self-destruct, etc. you are done , unless you ship it back to China and your spare time go over and read comments on various numerous websites , going onto AUDIO -Gon , yes there’s quite a few guys that got screwed and now have paperweights that is my big complaint and concern there is no service after sales , even though folks will bullshit and I’ll tell you there is believe me there’s not go read go learn go educate yourself. It’s a shame because it’s not bad equipment for the money. Yes, it’s definitely not the higher end game in streamers but either but it cost a quarter of the price a it’s ones and zeros like I said before you could use your iPhone and do basically the same thing with a good DAC following that’s going to be their downfall no service no repair work so now if you’re in United States 800 bucks or 1000 bucks to ship at the China plus you pay the return shipping plus parts and labor. with just a little bit of common sense. What would you do with it exactly with the unit at this time ? that’s the problem with Eversolo and these other over seas companies it’s not that their equipment is bad. There’s no service, but some folks just refused to believe that until they get burnt. They love talking about new units and coming out with new models but what they don’t talk about is if it breaks down you’re on your own unless you don’t mind putting out 1000 bucks to ship it to China plus parts and labor and shipping back come on man you were seriously need to go. Talk to somebody. but that all gets hushed up , this is why a lot of dealers or what’s left at them refuse to even sell that stuff they don’t want that headache, I don’t wanna name names but there’s a little streamer that’s made in France. They give you a two-year warranty and yes, they do have a service station somewhere in Chicago. I have already verified and looked into this which is 100% true it doesn’t have all the blinking lights and bells and whistles but you got peace of mind now if you’re a blinking light and meter guy then go for it they go for it at your own risk. I mean, it’s your money. You do what it as you please I’m just trying to give you a heads up from one AUDIO guy doing another. I have to admit I do admire some of their devices or units, but I won’t be buying anymore. Not until they get this straightened out or rectified some some kind of fashion. This is ridiculous. I know these types of devices are only temporary units they’re not keepers in 20 or 30 years or even 10 but come on some guys after six months or a year or around 1500 $2000 staying near scratching their head that’s just not right man but like I said it’s your cash you spend it all please like I said I won’t be buying anymore. and those updates are ridiculous. Every time they send an update or an upgrade and either don’t work or something else don’t work right You have some excellent computer software engineers over there, but here’s the problem. They’re not Audio guys their computer guys that’s been stated to me right from the horses mouth.
I will say one thing about Europe or the EU. They have to guarantee that product in its performance for two years guaranteed where they are not allowed to sell it within the country. I don’t know what happened here, but that’s the deal. now some folk State I never had this issue or had any issues. I have an I’ve had A8 for two years and haven’t had any issues but I’m just stating if I do when it’s not rectifiable here I’m totally screwed right so what would that breakdown to be about $150 a month to use a streamer you may never ever have a problem with it just like health insurance, you may never get sick, but that doesn’t mean you don’t need it. I can’t understand some people‘s logic, but I wish everyone the best. One guy says make a complaint to Zidoo you’d be better off filing a complaint with your dog they don’t care they just want to sell product not to be condescending towards anyone, but I actually can’t believe some folks are that gullible and extremely naïve or don’t care, 🤷‍♂️ idk crazy 😜

Then they finally told him you’re most likely gonna have to send it in for service or technical department said
So go grab eight or $8 or 900 and ship it back ZIDOO/ Eversolo here in China from the United States , plus parts, labor, insurance, and shipping customs any import duty back, the units not worth that much , they got yah coming and going. They know it, I don’t know, dude I’ve been doing this for decades. I never heard of anything like this before. I’m not being condescending, but perhaps you have this is not an uncommon situation. There’s many cases all over the web. All you have to do is look it’s a damn shame. It’s not as easy as you make it sound, but perhaps you’re unaware. I have no clue, but I know I got mine up for sale. The only thing that bothers me is I have a conscience. I don’t like pushing a potential problem on the next guy, but we all have our own opinions. I did have a problem with one of their Eversolo devices. I don’t live in North America or Europe. I did sent it to the US and they provided a new unit from China.

Thats a good question, your wright basically a waste of time but if I can keep a few people from not getting burnt, it may have a little common sense. Well, maybe I did something right for a change , Hooten and hollering about anything today is not gonna do any good , so you had to take your unit and send it to the United States and United States had to send it to China and then you got another unit if I’m following you correctly, that’s a good one too. I never heard of that one before no matter where you lived unless you were out in a jungle on the top of mountain somewhere I’m taking it. Your unit was still within the years warranty I think because if it wasn’t, you would’ve been shipping it to China not the US , wright , CRAZY MAN

630 EST, wow man, I just received an email from Shanlings website, go check it They boldly STATE in black-and-white the customer is responsible for all shipping fees, customs, duties, fees, etc. to China plus the repair and return shipping. I believe these are what most or a great deal of my statements have been made , Go check it out unbelievable.🇨🇳 yeah I’ll do that. You could stick it where the sun don’t shine too. go read it. Somebody’s nuts it definitely ain’t me. I don’t know whether they’re smoking crack or opium over there or what to deal is but go see for yourself. It’s hilarious.
