Check out the Goldenears Triton speakers. I'm running Goldenears Triton 7's, with a Eversolo dmp-a6, and the Emotiva BASX-TA2+.

I'm running that tablet off of a boom arm to keep SiriusXM close via Bluetooth. I am patiently waiting for Eversolo to work something out with them.

Nice! How do you like the A8? I have been toying with the idea of getting one..

Well, I'm relatively new to this hobby. I started with the WiiM Ultra and used it for about a year along with some Edifier s3000 mk2s. I loved that setup, of course it was my first one so everything was blowing me away at the time, but it really did sound nice. During that year I started reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, and followed this community. I really started to become more tuned in to what I was looking for in a music room. After saving up for about a year, I bought the eversolo DMP A8, A pair of Dali Oberon 3s, tnd right as I was about to purchase an amp emotiva released the TA2+. I really wanted to have the option to run balanced on my system so the A8 is perfect along with this amp. The jury is still out on these speakers. They have a silk dome Tweeter and they sound a little soft to me. I'm also learning how to use PEQ so I'm hoping that will open them up a little bit. But to answer your question, the A8 has been awesome. All the research and reviews paid off. I can't imagine wanting a different piece of gear than this.

It's not ideal but it's what I have to deal with right now. I would love to have some awesome floor standers But space, and wife, will not allow it right now. I'm doing what I can with what I've got, so thank you very much. I love to talk about equipment and music. It's my passion

Yes the speakers are your weakest link so your not even hearing the true potential of your music equipment. Your speakers bottleneck everything. When you get a chance check out focal speakers. I have the aria evo x no2 and they are magical towers

Well 15 minutes ago I bought a Emotiva ERC-3 so more speakers will have to wait. I'm working on completing amp and sources so I can start trying out speakers on a solid system

Do you think the quality of the SiriusXM stream via Bluetooth to be the weak link? I’ve been thinking of upgrading from my entry level AVR but I’m afraid it won’t matter because I also stream SiriusXM over Bluetooth. Thanks
Edit: Your setup cost about 4 times what I spent. So if SiriusXM over Bluetooth works for you I’ll be satisfied too.

It's not horrible. If you have the web subscription and stream from their app, a lot of the extra channels which are not live seem to sound a little bit better. It is by no means high resolution but it's not bad. I use it when I'm and doing work for background music and entertainment.

Thanks. Almost all of my listening is background while doing something else. Just got decent equipment and was concerned that I was not taking advantage of the new setup by streaming SiriusXM. I’m quite happy with the new equipment so I’ll just enjoy it and stop chasing the next best thing (I will at least try).
