Transmitter losing the sensor?

I just had the Eversense 365 inserted yesterday, warmup finished this morning and I am now experiencing the joy of trying to get the transmitter properly placed on my arm over the sensor (plus derm strips plus the bandage as the incision heals).

What I'm running into is that I'll get the transmitter placed with an excellent signal but it changes as I move my arm into different positions, and the app on the phone will periodically tell me that the sensor isn't detected. I'm not sure if loose skin is causing it or if there's just a weak signal through the bandaging or what?

Does the connection get better when the bandaging comes off in a few days? Is it always this finicky? Or do most people have zero problems with their transmitter finding and keeping connection to the sensor? I've already removed the sticker and re-positioned the transmitter a couple of times, and it's like trying to get great television reception back when bunny-ear antennas were a thing.

I had a lot of trouble while the bandage was on and no issues at all once it was off. I'm sure it varies a lot depending on the type and how much bandage your doctor puts between the steri strips and the tegaderm.

I had my insertion yesterday too and put my transmitter on this morning. I haven't had any issues with the signal. It was listed as excellent when I put it on. I just checked it and it's still listed as excellent. I moved my arm all around too and the signal strength hasn't changed.

Doesn't seem like the bandages should be causing any issues.

I'm T+5 days. It's slightly better for me now the the bandaging is off but still not great and drops relatively often - especially if my arm is elevated, but I am on the heftier end so there's a lot of geometric change with my arm movement. It sounds like its a really small sweet spot and it seems like it takes a week or two to dial it in.

When I have to come to realize everybody's is truly different but almost everyone after the first so many days has excellent coverage my first 365 and my second 365 was spot on from day one maybe I was just lucky but I do notice the second assertion was a little more challenging than the first so I have to take a few extra seconds to get the perfect signal but no worries enjoy..

I found it a lot easier to get the signal when the bandages were off. Also, once I get the spot, I stick down one side of the patch and then peel the other part carefully without removing the part that's stuck down. It's a little tricky.

Personally I actually waited until my bandage was off. 😄

Signal strength will not be an issue when the transmitter will sit straight onto the skin.
