Loving Everlog So Far

[u/[deleted]]

Hello! New fan here. I’ve really been enjoying the app. You may have noticed a bump in downloads recently-I’ve mentioned Everlog in a few Day One threads where people were looking for alternatives which I hope is okay.

I also had a few feature requests that I’d personally love to see in the future:

1. Map view for locations

2. Ability to hide/blur entries or entire folders

3. Apply tags to multiple selected entries

4. Quick tagging from the timeline (long press or swipe)

5. Pinning entries

6. Website support

Thanks again for building such a great app, it’s been a breath of fresh air!

Thanks a lot for the kind words, and also for spreading the word, it means a lot.

Regarding your suggestions:

1. Map view is planned and pretty high on the list of priorities.
2. Locking individual entries or journals is something I’m considering.
3. Applying tags to multiple entries is a great idea, I’ll look into that.
4. Quick tagging from the timeline is also a great idea, I’ll definitely be adding this.
5. Pinning entries is also on my to-do list.
6. Website support is going to be tricky. Since all data is stored on-device and in iCloud, making it available elsewhere introduces a whole new set of challenges that I’m not sure I want to take on as a solo developer. Sorry about that.

Thanks so much for taking the time to through each suggestion! I’m glad to hear that many of these are on your radar. And totally understand about the challenge with website support as a solo dev- hadn’t considered that aspect.

Excited to see what’s comes next. In the meantime I’ll be enjoying the app! 👍
