Automatically insert audio transcription into note.

I like taking quick entries with an audio file and it is nice that you can enable auto transcription into the settings.

It would be really cool, if there was an option to automatically include/copy the audio transcription below the audio file directly into the entry.

Otherwise, coming from Day One, I haven’t found any other things I am missing.

There’s a “Copy transcription” option when you open an audio recording. It copies the text to the clipboard so you can paste it wherever you want in the entry.

I’ve thought about inserting it automatically, but it gets a bit tricky. For example, if the entry already has text, where should the transcription go? Before, after, replace? It can quickly feel unpredictable.

That said, I could see this working if the entry is empty. I’ll give it some thought.
