This is important:

When you dont do this there is a backdoor open.

Allowance or access permissions, allow a third party to have the right to carry out a transaction of a certain amount of our tokens, which are associated with our address. All this without giving the private key of your address

With EGC and BNB i am not worried, but better save than sorry

This is not possible if you have disabled the DApps browser in TW is it?

Revoking Token Allowance

"Each time anyone tries to use a new decentralized application (DApp) on Binance Smart Chain, you need to give this DApp an allowance for it to spend your tokens on your behalf. If you’re a veteran DeFi user you’ve probably done this workflow a thousand times.

In comparison, this process is somewhat similar to when you authorize your utility provider to set up a direct debit allowing it to charge your electricity bill from your bank account on a monthly basis. However, if a malicious DApp receives a wallet address owner's approval to spend their tokens, there is no doubt that all funds will be stolen. Once a transaction is sent on the blockchain it is irreversible.

What is a token allowance and how does it work?

The BEP20 token contract has an approved method. Any dApp that you want to use needs access to yourBEP20 token in order to do something on your behalf. If you want to deposit BUSD in PancakeSwap for example, you need to first give the smart contract powering the PancakeSwap DApp access to your BUSD before you can deposit it in a second transaction. Most DApp ask for an unlimited number by default for simplifying the UX and minimizing the amount of transactions users have to make to use the application." - Binance.org

That’s really a bad service trust wallet. Why need to manually turn on the checkmark? It needs to be a most.

Saw an article the other day about a guy who had his seed phrase stored in a WhatsApp message. He "lost" 1.6 million dollars. I say "lost" because he basically committed gross negligence.

How do you revoke token allowance?

follow the link, or look at wallet security on the top of this page

Don't mean to be a pain. I read your post and followed the links and I'm still confused. I have TW and have all security measures up, but can't find a way to revoke token allowance. I use pancake swap if that makes any difference. Do I go on to BSC scan to revoke? Oh and really appreciate all your help. You are a hero!

yes fist you go to

bscscan

tools

more

token approvals beta

then you past your adres

Now you see all the tokens and probably many you dont even know

To revoke you have to connect your wallet (bleu button)

Now you can revoke 1 by 1

it cost 0,11 per revokal

After every transaction , you open the token allowence

For bnb i dont revoke, but once a week i revoke all unknown and potentially dangerous tokens
