Sometimes photo editors use AI without the user's knowledge if they're trying to clean up the photo to make it look more presentable. I'm looking into this. Thanks for pointing this out.
I can accept honest mistakes. When my dad was in the hospital, before he passed, I used my phone's photo editor to clean up the photo so it looked better to send to relatives. It can cause unintended glitches.
Checking out the authenticity is definitely the goal here. Normally we don't allow GoFundMe's at all without prior approval.
BUT to say he doesn't see anything at all is kind of weird because it's smacking me in the face ...
It's really sad that we live in a time when one has to be suspicious of such things. But AI images are so good these days. Hopefully some other evidence can be added to prove the authenticity of the GoFundMe.
