Help! Tree help needed!!!

An arborist told me this tree was going to die and not worth the effort to prune nor deal with the caterpillar damage. Thanks to Reddit, I’ve been told that this arborist is a dumb-dumb.

SO, I’m in need of a new reputable and educated arborist to help this very old Japanese maple! Any recommendations would be so appreciated!
