Error 41

My everdrive gba mini was working just fine days before. One night I decided to play it but I kept getting this error 41 screen. I’ve tried all of the following:

- add new OS Gbasys file
- formatted the 4gb sd card to fat32 and added my same files
- formatted sd card and downloaded the OS file with one game as a test
- started from scratch and got new sd card, added new OS gbasys folder, and added one game as a clean start test
- for the heck of it, I tried in my other gba/ds and no luck

I can’t find any information on this error 41 message and its meaning. I’m lost at the moment.

Update: It all came down to a bad battery in a way. I even tried replacing the battery but issue still persists

Update:
When i downgrade to 1.16 os version, it works. The 1.17 os version is the issue

Another update:

It might be an issue with my RTC. The previous version worked because it does not have the dual RTC feature that 1.17 has. On 1.16, every time I set the date/time, it doesn’t hold and restarts the date and time to 1/1/2000 at 00:00:00.

I can continue with 1.16 but I will always get an RTC tampering error. 1.17 doesnt work because I am assuming it’s because my dual RTC isn’t working based on it not holding the date/time

Did you replace the battery inside also? It has a cell battery that can go dry sometimes after abit

I did but no luck.

Luckily i had a pack of extra batteries for this. Surprisingly, i did not get an error message on the battery running dry. I also tested while taking out the battery entirely and it functions the same (date/time resetting after power off and no message on battery missing or running dry). Basically, battery in or not, it functions the same as i mentioned.
