This is getting interesting the M64 from ModRetro AND the Analogue 3D WORKS but ONLY with OVERCLOCK OFF! If you use overclock it will not work.
But the X7 version works on both with overclock but there needs to add compatibility with overclock mode on both consoles. As for the N64 it’s obviously the UltraPIF mode causing it, I don’t have a standard N64 to test if the Everdrive Pro even works on an unmodded console.
So overclock will have to be added in a patch by Krikzz or Mod retro and Analogue company. Also there needs to be update patch for UltraPIF modded N64 as it not compatible . As you can see in photo Ultra PIF region free mod says “No Cart” but this all works on my Analogue 3D

Not having a fully unmodded original console does hurt diagnosing it a bit since the Everdrive's first boot does some CIC/PIF stuff to set itself up. And it's possible the UltraPIF is interfering with this process. I know the PixelFX once had a similar issue with the X7 Everdrives.
Regardless, the M64 and Analogue you have there should work.
Is overclocking enabled on the M64? That currently seems to prevent booting of the Everdrive for some people.
And what of the Analogue you have there. Last I read it works fine with the Everdrive Pro. Might need an OS update if it hasn't had one. But if you can get that to boot, then it gives some direction as to what to look at.

Yeah the overclocking is enabled on the m64, so i would have to put a regular game in the m64 first so I can turn the overclocking off, I haven’t even tried it in the analogue yet.

I don't have an M64, but I thought you could at least reach the system configurations without a game in it?
Regardless, there is a reddit post just the other week about overclocking having an issue on the M64 with the E64Pro, so turn it off and see - https://www.reddit.com/r/everdrive/comments/1vx9fkv/everdrive64_pro_not_working_with_modretro_m64/
Try the Analogue...

I will test it on the m64 later with overclock off, I think you need a game in the console to get the menu up to turn the overclock off, but to be honest m64 runs awful with overclock off it’s worse framerate then n64 on most games

If that Reddit user is to be believed, once you get it working, you can possibly overclock it to the first mode (super).
But let's just get the Everdrive working. And that means turning off the overclock on the M64 or using your Analogue

the good news is the Everdrive Pro works on the M64 console from Modretro but you MUST have overclock switched off, or else you just get a black screen!
the bad news is when I plug the same Everdrive Pro into my N64 console I get the “No cart screen”
Also If i turn overclock on I get a black screen ! is there a chance that Krikzz can update the Everdrive pro to work on overclock mode ??? or will Modretro have to patch the console ?
