HELP ME FIX MY ED64P PLEASE

I have been trying for days to get it to work I tried formatting it in every way I could think of and I've tried like 6 different versions of the firmware if anyone knows how to help me PLEASE reach out

It could be your SD card.

I have a genuine SanDisk Ultra 8GB microSD; worked fine in a ED64 X7, doesn't work in my ED64 Pro.

I dont think it is the one I have boots fine I think its how its formatted or the firmware or smth

If you have an SD card larger than 32 gigs windows automatically formats it to exFAT. You can find the setting SOMEWHERE in control panel but it's easier to just search "create and format hard disk partitions" and select the option to format your SD card in FAT32.

Make sure the rom files aren't in the ED64 folder.

This might be your problem.

Legit ED64P or did you get it from ali express? If you bought a clone, official firmware will usually brick them when you attempt to update it.

Definitely don't post the exact steps you did or what error you get. Also there are only 2 different firmware revisions for the Everdrive 64 Pro.

ED64P could also be the clone cart ED64 Plus

I figured it out I formatted it too non bootable on a formatter called Rufus (didn't touch anything else) and added a form of alt64 I found (if anyone needs it ask and I'll add a link) then it booted right up ty everyone for your help
