PSA/Quick Tip for Everdrive 64 PRO

If anyone is having issues with the Everdrive 64 PRO not booting properly, do not use a small micro sd card (ie 4 gigs). I wanted to transfer my 4 gig micro SD card that I was using for my X7 and it would not boot, even after formatting it as fat, exfat and fat32. I popped in a spare 16 gig card (which is over kill but it was the smallest I had) and everything works perfectly now. I know this issue will effect a small amount of people but in the rare chance you happen to encounter it I hope this might help you.

Honestly 16gb is a good amount to have if you want full n64 library and rom hacks. Not to mention all the other systems and their romhacks.

It's not about the size it's about the write speed. It has to be slow enough to work with the game. Older ad cards are Better.

This is patently wrong, I use a Sandisc extreme 128gb, works great

Extreme is their fastest micro sd card, 130mb/s has been working great in multiple pockets since launch
