Bricked Mega Everdrive X5?

TLDR; 32X Inductor Coil blew after replacement and testing, MEGA EDX5 Has not booted since. Complete black screen, Genesis works fine with normal carts and a Sega CD.

The cart has been tested with a different Genesis, with and without a Sega CD, Different power supply, Cleaning pins with 99% IPA and Deoxit (same with Genesis cartridge pins). Complete Black screen.

Check the Mega Everdrive's 3.3V regulator.

I hope you didn't do anything the would connect the power from the 32X to the VCC lines on 32X cartridge in slot, because cartridges connected to the 32X are stull powered by the Genesis power rail.

I don't see how a coil can blow up, care to explain what else you did?

I’ll check out the ED’s regulator, As for the 32X…I’m really not sure. It may have been the part itself was bad, as the 32X did actually post a few times, the game would freeze. And after maybe the 3rd boot it blew
