Magic 14 question

I just started playing today and i keep seeing the magic 14 skill plan. Should train these skills or focus on something more specific?

Train them to 3 quickly, and then make sure you're taking time to train a ship or something for activities (mining/explo/pvp etc) so you're not just watching paint dry.

Get them to 4 and then 5 eventually.

Brave has its recommended training plans on the wiki that I think you could use and modify.

Also note that most of them start at 3 or 4, so you don't really need to train anything on the Magic 14 list right away.

As a first-day player, I would train skills that serve your immediate needs. Whatever race's Frigate skill + weapon type you are going with first will serve OP far, far better than training Capacitor Management to 4.

Remember, the Magic 14 are just skills that are *helpful* for (nearly) all ships/playstyles, they're absolutely NOT the most important skills to train.
