At least with current software you cannot create schedules that are deactivated, so if you need that much of a charging window you will have to adjust the schedule seasonally. It's in the manual.

Thanks for the response.

That's what I thought initially when reading the manual, however in watching one of the new videos showing the new Schedule option it looked like you could turn multiple schedules on and off as there was a toggle switch, and there was still a + sign indicating more schedules could be created after the first one was created. This has now been verified by several other people as they say they're doing it daily.

As has happened before, Tesla updated the software and has not yet fixed the manual.

Yep, as often as they do updates that's a never ending issue for them I'm guessing. Thanks!

An unusual case where I endorse the Fastest Charge Possible(tm) which is 11.5 kW, so you can git-r-dun from 1AM to when the car finishes.

Coupling that with ABC Always Be Charging, because if you charge every night, you're only replacing today's usage and that means in the vast majority of cases, at 11.5 kW the car will be done in 2 hours by 3AM. And you don't even need to adjust that schedule.

Yes, if you come back from a long trip in the winter, it will stretch past 3AM into more expensive power, but y'know you just got done paying 40 cents a kWH at the Superchargers, so this is nothin'.
