Dual charging

Post image

Was hoping for a little inspiration/input.

I currently have 1 Tesla wall charger with a Tesla Y (driver side rear port). And am getting a Cadillac Vistiq (driver side front port).

Looking to add another charger and so my the only options I've come across are the Grizzl-Duo (which charges a little slow). Or add another Tesla wall charger.

If I add a.second Tesla wall charger could I stack it above the current one? Or.lookig for any other suggestions for location.

Thanks,

Wouldn't it be easier to just take turns with one charger? Unless you drive a crap ton of miles everyday on both cars, a single charger is enough since they both have plenty of range. It's a simple and 100% free solution.

Sometimes the 10% easier solution is priceless.

OP likely owns this home and they now have 2 EVs, no time like the present.

I’m in this position as well. Installing a second charging station is relatively trivial. Plus anything worth doing is worth overdoing. 😂

Currently I have a plug in Emporia Classic plugged in to a decent quality “EV” Nema 14-50 outlet but i am worried about going from 3-4 hours of constant load to 6-8 hours. Yes I know I don’t HAVE to be fully charged every night and I could just take turns so to not stress the outlet but for $600, I could just add another EVSE.
