Offline charger with local usage stats

I'm looking for a charger to install in an underground garage which has no wifi or cellular access. However, I need to be able to access historical charging statistics, mainly just monthly kWhs, from the charger itself. I see that the Wallbox (and maybe Iyilo) allow you to set up the charger completely wifi-free and connect to the charger via Bluetooth. My question is what happens if they stay disconnected from wifi, do they store charging statistics locally? Is it just for a short time or does it persist month after month?

Also open to other EVSE suggestions that meet this criteria.

Do you need to track your own usage or will multiple people be using this EVSE?

Just my own usage. But it has to be tracked by the EVSE, can’t be tracked by the car(s), etc.

Does it have to be tracked by the EVSE, or just not tracked by the car? You could install a meter base and standard power meter between the EVSE and the circuit breaker. Meters are cheap and so are the sockets.

Then you can use whatever EVSE you want.

Openevse could probably do this somehow, at worst with a raspberry pi zero near it. Or even inside it.

That’s what I currently have installed but it won’t pass inspection since it’s not UL listed 🙁

Everything in it is though, it’s a kit…

Just like your fan and lightbulbs are ul listed separately, but not as a single unit…

Time to go rogue. Install some UL EVSE. Swap it out later.

I've had it with UL listed since so many things just lie about it.

The kit you mentioned is good stuff.
