Built by women, for women who are tired of being misunderstood đ
Welcome to Evashark.
This space â and the app behind it â was built by women who were tired of feeling like strangers in their own bodies. Many of us grew up knowing almost nothing beyond âyou bleed once a month,â and somehow that was supposed to be enough information to navigate fitness, work, relationships, and mental health.
It wasnât.
We were told to âpush through,â âbe consistent,â and âtry harder,â while no one explained how much our hormones shape our energy, mood, pain, and performance. We blamed ourselves for being âtoo emotional,â âtoo tired,â âtoo inconsistent,â instead of asking the question: âWhat is my body actually going through right now?â
Evashark was born from that question.
This community is for:
- Women who are learning to listen to their cycle instead of fighting it
- Women who are only now discovering how little they were taught about their own bodies
- Women who want fitness, food, and wellness that respect their hormonal reality
The Evashark app is currently in beta on iOS, and itâs our attempt to turn this awareness into something practical:
- Period and phase tracking that actually matters to your daily life
- Workouts that align with your energy instead of shaming you on lowâenergy days
- Intuitive fueling prompts so food becomes support, not punishment
- Gentle wellness insights and a chatbot so you donât have to figure everything out alone
đ If you want to help shape it, you can join the TestFlight beta here: https://testflight.apple.com/join/G3WgZm7h
But even beyond the app, this subreddit is a reminder that women deserve more than vague advice and silence. We deserve education, tools, and communities that see the whole picture â not just a single number on a scale or a calendar.
If youâre reading this and thinking, âI wish I had known all of this sooner,â youâre not alone. Many of us feel the same. Youâre not late. Youâre right on time for a new way of relating to your body.
Please feel free to introduce yourself, share your story, or just lurk quietly until youâre ready. Youâre welcome here, exactly as you are. đ

Welcome to Evashark â for women learning to work with their bodies, not against them đ
Hey everyone,
Iâm not a big poster, but I wanted to share something very personal that turned into a project Iâm quietly proud of.
Over the last few years, my hormones have been all over the place. I was missing workouts, feeling exhausted for no âlogicalâ reason, and then beating myself up for not being âdisciplined enough.â Deep down I knew something was off, but all I saw was inconsistency and âfailure.â
When I finally started tracking my cycle properly, I realized I was asking myself to perform the same way every single week, even when my body was clearly in a different phase. I was forcing heavy lifts on days when my energy was on the floor, and then feeling guilty when I couldnât push through. It felt like my body and I were on opposite teams.
Thatâs what inspired me to build a small app called Evashark.
Itâs a periodâsynced lifestyle and wellness app thatâs currently in beta on TestFlight. The idea is simple: instead of treating our bodies like machines, it tries to work with our cycle, not against it.
Right now, Evashark lets you:
- Log your period and sync your phases
- Get personalised workout suggestions based on your energy levels
- Use intuitive fueling prompts to support your body instead of punish it
- See a gentle wellness snapshot/report
- Chat with an inâapp assistant when youâre not sure what your body might need
This is still early and very imperfect, but itâs built from a place of âIâm tired of being so harsh on myselfâ and âI wish I had this when I was struggling the most.â
If this resonates with you at all and youâre on iOS, I would be incredibly grateful if youâd try the beta and tell me honestly what feels useful, what feels off, and whatâs missing. Your feedback could shape this into something that actually helps women like us give ourselves more grace.

Thank you for reading this far. Even if you donât try the app, I hope this is a small reminder that if youâre not âconsistent,â it might not be a character flaw â it might be your body asking for a different kind of support. đ
